  • Keep logs off the glass on the wood-burner door, by using the fire poker

  • The wood-burner door must be closed during operation

We appreciate your kindness and consideration. We have a fixed refundable bond of $50 for bookings of two days or $100 for three days or more, if the house is left in the condition that you found it in.

We reward you with a 5% discount for repeat weekend bookings – in the future – if you would like to give us a review that we can publish as a Testimonial.

Not suitable for dogs, as there is no secure fencing on the backyard.

In ordinary circumstance we do not cater for pets. If you have a specific request or special situation – we may make a special allowance if you communicate with us.

We had a really wonderful relaxing time in your beautiful Mud-brick cottage. It is so rustic, quaint and comfortable. Just perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. One day was very wet and misty, but we hunkered down in front of the fire and played games and read books.

We intended on going on some bushwalks, but it didn't happen!

Thanks for sharing the lovely home with its nooks and crannies and homeliness – it felt very comfortabl, clean and comforting somehow.  We loved the garden with its lovely gum trees and birds.  All these simple pleasures that we are not used to.  We played Monopoly Deal and did some cooking.  When we felt adventurous we went on nice drives to various waterfalls and walking trails and we picked orange wildflowers.  There was also abundant raspberries in your backyard. 

It’s very still at night and in the morning there is a cacophony of birds sounds.  It is lovely to drive along the wide quiet roads, looking at the trees and hoping to see wildlife.  Lots of rabbits!
